Jiaodong region is located in the eastern part of the North China Craton, the tectonic inTanlu fault zone east, south of the Pacific Plate, Eurasian Plate and the Pacific Plateintersection here. The Jiaodong region strata mainly by Jiaodong Group, Jingshan Group,powder sub Hills, Penglai group metamorphic. Strong magmatic activity within the region,magmatic rocks are widely distributed, Linglong granite outcropping, Guojialing granite,Kunlun Mountains granite, etc. The magma activities are focused on the MesozoicYanshanian, cenozoic magmatic activity is weak, magmatic rocks less, mainly effusive orhypabyssal intrusive main. Constructed to fracture, regional NE trending faults are widelydistributed, important guide rock ore-structure, control the formation and distribution ofmagmatic rocks.The Jiaodong area is an important gold producing area, a quarter of the country’stotal gold reserves. The Jiaodong region gold mineralization time concentrated in theMesozoic Yanshanian (100—120Ma) and veins larger depth, the obvious tectonic control.The Jiaodong area gold types, but most of them can be summarized as altered rock type orquartz vein type gold.
