Duoying slope located in Yucheng, Yaan, Sichuan province, became less stableafter first sliding movement. Now, there are many ground fissures in this area whereuse for living and farming, and if the slope slide again, it will make huge risks onlives and estates. This article studied3D laser scanner, analyzed the stability ofDuoying slope and mainly acquired2achievements.(1)After applying Leica HDS88003D laser scanner on Duoying slope, the pointcloud data had been collected and then processed by Cyclone, a software can spliceand denoise data. Cyclone established data mesh model afterwards and export toCASS by which I computerized front elevation, side elevation and plan of that slope.(2)This dissertation analyzed the stability of that slope by Flac3D. Flac3Dcalculated the safety factor and simulated stress and strain field, while3D physicalmodel had been built as well as the material qualities had been defined.Combining accurate emersion by using3D laser scanner with numericalsimulation results, to some extent, is an effective way to forecast the landslide disaster.However, this combination provides a method that will be of great value inassessing slope stability.
