Landslide slope spatial analysis, is one of the current hot spots of the country and the worldgeo-spatial information science research. On the basis of a combination of3D laser scanningtechnology and geological methods, the use of three-dimensional laser scanning technology toa higher sampling rate, can provide a more accurate expression of the true complexity of thesituation to learn the object, the3D real-time data appears to obtain in the field of SpatialInformation Science particularly important. The3D laser scanning technology is the productof the information age, the technology as an effective means to obtain spatial data, fast accessto the reactive objective things in real time, dynamic changes, the true morphologicalcharacteristics of the information.The three-dimensional laser scanning technology, is anothertechnology revolution after the GPS technology in the field of Geodesy.This paper firstly introduced the3D laser scanning technique, the3D laser scanning systemprinciple of work, for a variety of different laser scanning system to conduct a detailedclassification. Then, the system data acquisition process error sources and error of thescanning point cloud data of impact will be analysed. Then the Bailuyuan area landslideenvironment, landslide, geological background, characteristics and cause of formation aresummarized. Then the Bailuyuan area landslide environment, landslide, geologicalbackground, characteristics and cause of formation are summarized. Then in accordance withthe3D laser scanning point cloud data processing and the basic steps of the point cloudprocessing operations, such as multiple scan matching connection, surface modeling, datastorage and calculation for a detailed description. With the application of landslide predictiontheory as a guide, the comprehensive application of the factor analysis method, the Bailuyuanlandslide slope stability and spatial distribution are studied, and the prevention of Bailuyuanarea landslide will be given. The result shows that, the3D laser scanning technology to obtaindata on the rapidity, high efficiency, high precision and high resolution characteristic oftraditional methods can not be compared, the application of this technology has a broadprospect.
