In recent years, the growing demands of the high quality and the high comfortbra for consumers drove the moulded cup bra to the high technical complexity andquick response. However, in the actual processing of the design and production of theunderwear enterprises, there exist many problems, which serious obstacle the qualityand efficiency of the moulded bra cup design.The problem including: The disunity of bra designers and modeling operatorleads to the information loss and deformation of the design concept; The lack ofanalysis of the human body and chest form for the customer groups, so as not to usescientific and accurate data to design the moulded bra cup; The lack of uniformhuman body standard in the whole design and production process, results in thedeviation and modification exist in every link of the moulded bra cup design andproduction cycle; Incomplete reverse engineering method and subjective designprocess makes the whole design process too dependent on subjective experience,which leads to repeatedly modification and greatly reduce the efficiency of design.In order to solve the present problems of the moulded bra cup design in theunderwear enterprises, based on the "people-oriented" and standardized moulded bracup design method and the efficiency-improved guiding thought, this thesis proposedthe human body based moulded bra cup design method.In this thesis, the human body measurement and analysis were unified into thewhole design and production process of the moulded bra cup, to provide scientific andaccurate design basis for the moulded bra cup design; The feature parameter designprinciple were used to standardize the personal experience of the bra designers andsoftware operators into the moulded bra cup design steps and process, in order toprovide the bra designers a intuitional and forward moulded bra cup design methodwhich adapt to the bra designers thinking mode; The understanding of designconcepts and identification of modeling rules were increased to complete the mouldedbra cup design process into a whole forward and reverse mixing engineering. The contents of this thesis including these6parts:(1) Through the investigationof the enterprise, the problems of the moulded bra cup design and production in theunderwear enterprises were analyzed, to determine the research content.(2) Womenchest shape were analyzed by3-D human body measurement, and according to thehuman body measurement data, the underwear used3-D parametric mannequin wasgenerated to provide the human body basis for the future research.(3) According tothe human body feature points, the feature points, feature curves and feature surfacewhich describe the women bust feature were analyzed, and parameterizedrepresentation.(4) According to the requirements of the moulded bra cup design, theconcepts of the basic cup, style cup and function cup were introduced to respectivelydescribe the parameterized modeling of the feature points, feature curves and featuresurfaces, and establish the parameter constraint relation between the moulded bra cupand the digital mannequin.(5) In UG platform, UG GRIP were used to secondarydevelop the moulded bra cup design module, to realize the parametric design processof moulded bra cup.(6) System framework of the moulded bra cup design was built toanalyze the function of each module, and optimize the moulded bra cup design flow.The result of this research is a moulded bra cup design module which based onUG platform. This thesis followed the "people-oriented" design principle, whichprovides the theory basis for the moulded bra cup design method, which furnished anopen, quantizing and standardized moulded bra cup design method for underwearenterprises, which could improve the quality and efficiency of the moulded bra cupdesign.
