Recently,with female consumers focus their concentration more on the bra’scomfortable and functional requirement, the development of moulded bra cup toward highprecision and advanced technology direction.However,after internship we find there aresome problems exist in the actual production process of the underwear enterprise,affect theoverall efficiency of the moulded bra cup design level.These problems are reflected in twoaspects: on the one hand,some designers and software operating personnel lack reasonableand effective communication in the reverse design of bra that lead to the loss of effectiveinformation, thus affecting the efficiency of the entire design process and the final result;onthe other hand,we combine forward design and reverse design method in the process of themoulded bra cup design,while we find the reverse design method of the moulded bra cupdesign is incomplete,lack of the understanding of design intention and the identification ofthe shape regularity.From the view of computer geometry,the moulded bra cup is afree-form surface with an intermediate thick, thin edge, concave and convex shape, shapesymmetrical with closed contour3D geometric modeling.Therefore,they do not analyze thegeometric properties of the curve from the view of the curve geometry about the entiresurface characteristics in the reverse design method.In order to improve the efficiency communication between designers and moldsoftware operating personnel, perfect the entire reverse design process of the moulded bracup,improve the digitized and scientific management of the moulded bra cup, it isnecessary for us to analyze the the moulded bra cup’s curve from the point of curvegeometry. Finally, based on the analysis of the data,we establish molded bra cup analysissystem.The research methods and contents are as follows:1) Through my internship in the underwear enterprise and consult the relevantliterature, analyze the problems of the underwear enterprises in the reverse design processof the moulded bra cup mold, finally clear the direction of the research subject.2) According to my research work, firstly,I choose the moulded bra of seven with thesame material but different shape, use the3D CaMega three-dimensional optical scanner toobtain three-dimensional point cloud data.After preprocessing the point cloud data obtainthe required point cloud data.3) Analyze the moulded bra cup’s geometry characteristics from three aspectsrespectively: the moulded bra cup’s feature points, feature curves, the internal and externalsurfaces.These including: analyze how to obtain BP point and select the BP point acquisition method;take the BP point as the center and construct the moulded bra cup’sfeature curves in the reverse design software-Imageware; In addition,analyze the geometrytheoretical basis of mi shape characteristic curve.4)Analyze point geometric elements, from the curvature’s curve, the curve peak pointand the curve inflection point to analyze the experimental moulded bra cup’s four featurecurves.5)From the view of curve’s arc length and curve’s curvature analyze the featurecurve’s geometry characteristic,based on the data construct the overall framework of themoulded bra cup’s analysis system,at last, apply the experimental moulded bra cup to theanalysis system and do the specific classification.The result of this subject is to build a analysis system based on the moulded bra cup’sshape features,analyze the geometric properties of the moulded bra cup’s feature curvesquantitatively,understand the changes of the moulded bra cup’s feature curves from theessential attribute of the curve’s feature.To some extent, provide theoretical guidance of themoulded bra cup’s classified management in a scientific and rational way.
