With the progress of society, the speed of infrastructure and update maksconstruction industry shows the status of pillar industry. At the same time, hundredsof millions of tons of construction waste appeared in construction and demolitionprocess. In order to avoid environmental pollution and waste of resources, utilizationof construction waste has been widely studied in china. However, most of the researchfocuses on the feasibility of recycling technology, physicochemical properties ofrecycled products and feasibility of economically. There is not enough studies whichis focus on evaluation of environmental load for construction waste recyclingUsing life cycle assessment (LCA) method, this paper is to set up life cycleinventory of resources, energy consumption and pollutant emissions of our country’sconstruction waste recycling, and compare the environment loads of recycledproduction with traditional building materials. The result shows that:Environmental advantages of use recycled aggregate mainly reflected in theconservation of land, per ton of recycled aggregate can avoid0.06m2of landoccupation, followed by to avoid photochemical smog effect. ADP, GWP,AP, POCP,HT and LU of the JK and DB recycled aggregate production are lower than that ofnatural aggregate, a single environmental indicators were8.18%and59.48%ofnatural aggregate.100%recycled aggregate concrete environmental load order is: environmentalacidification AP> greenhouse GWP photochemical smog POCP> human healthdamage HT> non-renewable resource consumption ADP> land occupied LU. LU isnegative, which means that avoid land occupied. With the increase of replacement rate,the environmental load are lower., especially in the POCP. Single indicators of C30and C40recycled concrete is only19.98%and34.17%of the same level traditionalconcrete. The advantage of environmental load is obviously. The most obviously issaving land, followed by followed by POCP> ADP the GWP> HT> AP.The most important enviromengt impact of recycled brick, recycled blocks andrecycled concrete is AP, which is related with the emission of gaseous pollutants,fllowed by the greenhouse effect and photochemical smog effection. Recycled block has the lowest energy consumption and emission of gaseous pollutants. Comparedwith the traditional lightweight aggregate concrete-blocks and fired brick, recycledproducts have a very distinct advantage, a single environmental indicators is4.76%and0.15%of the sintered solid brick.Under the condition of current construction waste recycling process, therecommended way in turn is: recycled block, low-grade recycled concrete (C40),recycled brick, high-grade recycled concrete (C40).
