The Kansei Design Research On Form Of Modern Panel Staff Table

This paper uses the method of quantitative analysis to carry out the followingwork: First, research and make morphological analysis based on250staff tableunits of22brands at home and abroad; Second, the25staff Shapes are constitutedby the application of orthogonal experiment, and the3DMAX2009software is usedto render the virtual modeling, and produced25pictures that would be used as thecheck samples for study.Third, use the proportion of the user to select, the methodof cluster analysis and the K-mean clustering analysis to screen Kansei semanticvocabulary that are suitable for appraising the form of modern panel staff table.Through design practice and test with Semantic Differential Method, we know thatthe cognitive image of designs is coincident with the cognitive image of consumers.The primary results are as follows.1) The form of modern panel staff table can be divided into four categories:top, leg, cabinet and back-plate. The top can be divided into three forms, straightline, curve line and straight curve line combination. The leg can be divided intotwo forms, linear and the planar. Cabinet can be divided into four forms, theIndirect-fixed cabinet, the Direct-fixed cabinet, the Transportable cabinet and theHanging cabinet. The back plate can be divided into two forms: the overall and theinternal.2) Filter out of5image semantic vocabularies that are suitable for appraisingthe form of modern panel staff table. They are Multiple-Monotonous,Loose-Cramped, Optional-Rigorous, Easeful-Awkward and Modern-Traditional.3)Top, leg and the inner shape of back-plate have significant influence on thescores of the image semantic of “Multiple-Monotonous”; Leg, cabinet andback-plate have significant influence on the scores of the image semantic ofLoose-Cramped; Top, leg, the overall shape of back-plate and the inner shape ofback-plate have significant influence on the scores of the image semantic ofOptional-Rigorous; Top and box have significant influence on the scores of theimage semantic of Easeful-Awkward; Leg, top, box and the inner shape of theback-plate have significant influence on the scores of the image semantic ofModern-Traditional.4) The banana-shaped top, Curved leg, Indirect-fixed cabinet, Wide-curvedback-plate and Perforated back-plate are the form with the highest evaluation scoreof the image semantic of Multiple; Double round top, A-leg, Indirect-fixed cabinet, Narrow-curved back-plate and Perforated back-plate are the form with the highestevaluation score of the image semantic of Loose; Banana-shaped top, Curved leg,Indirect-fixed cabinet, Narrow-curved back-plate and Perforated back-plate are theform with the highest evaluation score of the image semantic of Optional; Doubleround top, O-leg, Transportable cabinet, Wide-Flat back-plate and Imperforateback-plate are the form with the highest evaluation score of the image semantic ofEaseful; Banana-shaped top, Curved leg, Transportable cabinet, Narrow-curvedback-plate and Perforated back-plate are the form with the highest evaluation scoreof the image semantic of Modern.5) Rectangle top,4-legs, Transportable cabinet， Narrow-Flat back-plate andImperforate back-plate are the form with the highest evaluation score of the imagesemantic of Monotonous；U-shaped top，Plate leg, Direct-Fixed cabinet, Wide-Flatback-plate and Imperforate back-plate are the form with the highest evaluationscore of the image semantic of Cramped； Rectangle top,4-legs, Direct-Fixedcabinet， Wide-Flat back-plate and Imperforate back-plate are the form with thehighest evaluation score of the image semantic of Rigorous； Ladder-shaped top,curved leg, Hanging cabinet, Wide-curved back-plate and Perforated back-plate arethe form with the highest evaluation score of the image semantic of Awkward;Rectangle top, O-legs, Direct-Fixed cabinet,， Wide-Curved back-plate andImperforate back-plate are the form with the highest evaluation score of the imagesemantic of Traditional.6) Through design practice and test with Semantic Differential Method, weknow that the cognitive image of designs is coincident with the cognitive image ofconsumers.
