PCB (printed circuit board) is an indispensable part of electronic products, while PCBCNC drilling machine is the special equipment for processing PCB, the improvement ofquality and performance of PCB CNC drilling machine will greatly promote PCB industryand even electronics industry. According to the market research and relevant data, there existsa considerable gap between domestic and foreign PCB CNC drilling both on structure andhardware-software cooperation.This thesis emphasis on analyzing X Y axis mechanical structure of PCB CNC drillingmachine, give clear explanation of problems in drilling machines one by one. Take thethought of “Analyze-Design-Overall Consideration-Reanalyze-Redesign”and adopt structureoptimizing design method to make performances of the optimized machine improved.The papers start with the structure of PCB CNC machine, use SolidWorks whichintegrated with design, analysis and optimization as platform, build up3D parts according to3D modeling techniques and its assemble them into assembly, then conduct interferenceinspection and motion simulation to check whether conflicts exists between the parts or itsown motion is beyond the work scope; propose appropriate solutions based on the actualsituation. The study met the design goal is optimize the structure of some of the keymechanism to improve its correlation with the overall structure, make its structure compact;enhance the rationality and logistics of overall structure, improve the assembly process tofacilitate assembly and maintenance; improve accuracy of Y-axis positioning; improvedrilling stability, reduce the cases of broken needles.In order to achieve the above aims, theoretical feasibility analysis of the proposedsolutions, positioning correlation analysis, parts related considerations, finite element analysisare required; gradually determine the best solution and final parts. When design analysis andoptimization come to an end, we need to converted3D parts to2D engineering drawings tosend to processing center for manufacturing, and then transported to the Assembly Buildinguntil the sample machine is assembled. The PCB CNC Drilling real machine should be able tocomplete work requirements through control software driven and have a stable workingconditions; then using the corresponding test methods to evaluate the optimized drillingmachine for future standardization of production.Finally, testing and inspection of the real machine proved that this thesis, analysis,design, optimization is feasible, not only achieve primary design requirements but alsoimprove the R&D efficiency, and reduce the cost. Now, the machine has been put into production, and structural design and optimization work is continued in order to meet thechanging market and the needs of the different types of customers.
