Lakes are an important part of Earth’s water resources, but when humans use it, theyalso pollute the water resources. Today, China’s lakes pollution is serious, in order toimprove the lake water quality and restore the balance of lake ecosystem, the governmenthas taken measures to connect lakes.It is important to study the rationality of lakes connectivity project, because it haseconomic value for ensuring the correct implementation of post-governance program,while serve as a model and reference for the domestic similar project.Given that the aim of lakes connectivity project is to improve the lake water quality,preserve and maintain the lake ecosystem health, we use the popular lake ecosystemhealth studies on evaluation of the lakes connectivity project.This paper summarized the research process of the ecosystem health of lakes’ waterenvironment, and proposed that it’s the key to select the appropriate evaluation indicatorsfor lake ecosystem health assessment. By analyzing the ecological characteristics of lakesand the essence of lake ecosystem health assessment, this paper established a morecomprehensive evaluation indicators system of lake ecosystem health initially, andultimately establishes a comprehensive indexes, using AHP screening, that reflects thechanges on system-level and level of ecosystem structure. Also, comparing the advantagesand disadvantages of different evaluation models, and combining the indexes’characteristics, the paper builds a model by using fuzzy clustering analysis and directmeasurement method. Then, take the water network connectivity project of East Lake asan example, analyze the changes of indicators of East Lake, Sand Lake and thecorresponding sub-lakes group before and after the connectivity, also think of the clustergroups of East and Sand Lake on time, give an scientific assessment of the connectivityproject on East&Sand Lake comprehensively, and predicate the future trends aftercommunicating lakes by combining lake ecosystem health evaluation standards. Theresults show that the connectivity works positively. East Lake, Sand Lake and sub-zones are overall towards better direction of the higher system energy, more complex structureand better nutritional status after connectivity. This study gives a certain reference valuefor ecosystem management work, and helps to improve the lake ecosystem research.
