Study On Control System Of CNC Hydraulic Press Brake

With the development of CNC technology and production technology, the flexibility and intelligent requirement of press brake have been continuously improved. To meet the development of CNC press brake, This project group has done some researching on the key technology of CNC hydraulic press brake and developed the control system of configurable press brake based on WDM driver.The structure and control principle of press brake has been analysed. The cross coupling control was introduced into the hydaulic synchronous control system. All the servo motor was controlled by velocity loop in the system.With the HNC8CNC controller hardware platform of Huazhong Numerical Control Co.,Ltd, the PCI bus device WDM driver has been developed based on the NCUC bus protocol. The application software could communicate with hardware through the driver in Win32systems.To improve the flexibility of the control system, motion planning, motion control and data storage has been layered to design in the software and driver. The data structure, logical operation and control algorithm has been abstracted to make all the modules more independent. The hardware configuration function has been developed in the software. The parameters should be set based on the hardware resources.The software architecture has been designed and the whole control process of system has been analysed. This thesis researches on the development of the PCI driver in WDM mode, encoder data processing, the implementation of the control algorithm in the driver and sharing of memory between application software and driver. Afer completing the development of the control system, some experiments has been done to test the performance of the control system and the data gathered from the system has been analysed.The control system has been put into use in the CNC hydraulic press brake. And the workpiece manufactured by the system meet the requirements of production.
