The lead is widely used as an important metal for basic industry.The study of the lead smelting extraction and its control technology is closely watched.The lead sintering and roast furnace smelting process and the oxygen bottom blown smelting-blast furnace reduction process are two main methods of lead smelting. The former one has low utilization rate of SO2and serious environmental pollution, while the latter one has the advantages of simple process, high efficiency and less gas pollution.The process of oxygen bottom blown smelting is mainly used for achieveing thermal chemical reaction under high temperature by the catalytic solvent. The reaction temperature of the thermal process is very important for the smelting.And the performance of the smelting temperature control is closely related to the stabilization of production, the improvement of the quality and the production, reduceing energy consumption and safety. The adaptive optimal control of the complex smelting temperature process parameters is the core of the oxygen bottom blown smelting technology.The analysis shows that the process of the oxygen bottom blown smelting is complex, and it has the characteristics of nonlinear, uncertainty and time delay.The traditional control methods are difficult to satisfy the requirement of the smelting temperature control.The smelting process model of the oxygen bottom blown furnace was proposed on the mechanism analysis based on the research of similar documents and the smelting process characteristics.According to the characteristics of time delay and time varying of the smelting temperature of the thermal process, the Smith controller was designed for compensating the time delay,while the adaptive controller was proposed for making up for the disadvantages of the Smith controller.The Smith controller has a high demand for the accuracy of the model and it is difficult to adapt to the mismatch model.The fuzzy PID controller is used for adjusting the PID parameters to meet the the smelting temperature phase as demand.Considering the similar documents, the characteristics of the process model and the adaptive algorithm, the fuzzy PID controller based on adaptive Smith was designed for the temperature control of the oxygen bottom blown furnace.The simulation show that the fuzzy PID controller based on adaptive Smith still has a good control effect in case of the model mismatch.The hardware and software of temperature control system of the oxygen bottom blown furnace were designed.The fuzzy PID controller based on adaptive Smith is the core of the temperature control system. The software consists of the centralized monitoring, distributed measurement and control, network communication and other parts, and it is programmed through the way of object oriented.The FCS(Fieldbus Control System) distributed structure was adopted as the harware structure.Then the smelting temperature monitor of the oxygen bottom blown furnace is realized on the fuzzy PID controller based on the adaptive Smith.
