| The traditional Chinese medicine extraction process is one of the most important unit operations in the traditional Chinese medicine productive process. And the continuous countercurrent extraction’s put forward improves the extraction rate, economize the lost and raise the economical benefit. But because of the complicated technological relationship, the interrelationship links of the extraction process about continuous control, the application of complex control system and advanced control strategies is particularly important. As the highest form of automation system, the comprehensive automation system which is supported by network technology and database technology, combined enterprise management and field control. So the comprehensive automation’s realization of Chinese medicine production has important significant for improving the production level and management level.In this subject, take the continuous dynamic countercurrent extraction as the research object; the comprehensive automation system framework was constructed, after analyzed the process characteristics of the continuous dynamic countercurrents extraction. And the comprehensive automation system was designed which based on PC+PLC, such as the measuring frequency transducer, the control unit module and actuators’ selected. The control technology and control strategy were studied on the goal of improves the extraction rate, economize the lost and raise the economical benefit, and the cascade control system about the inner-extractor temperature and the ratio control system about the medicinal material’s ratio were designed. The PID adaptive control was put forward based on integral separation and incomplete differential. The PLC program was designed modularity after hardware’s configuration. And finally, combined the monitoring software of host computer and FB58, the PID adaptive control about solvent temperature was realized.To realize the Chinese medicine enterprise’s comprehensive automation for purpose, studied the network technology and database technology. The CPU which with MPI/PROFIBUS P/S interface and PROFINET interface was used as the main controller and the data communication between PCS and MES by PROFINET and Ethernet was used between MES and ERP. In order to realize the data open, the ODBC was used to connect the interior database and the exterior database.To realize the Chinese medicine enterprise’s comprehensive automation for purpose, studied the network technology and database technology.
