With the rapid development of Chinese economy, environmental degradation, ecological damage, severe lack of resources and other problems are more and more acute. Living environment has become the topic which public concern along with the improving of the quality of the nation and the enhancement of public’s awareness of environmental protection. While on the road to develop the country’s economic construction, the construction industry as a large consumption of resources resulting in a large number of constructio n waste exacerbated the conflict between environmental pollution and itself. Therefore, how to effectively deal with and use of construction waste is a major challenge which the current Chinese society faces.Chengdu As a development center in western China has a large number of construction projects and its economic develops rapidly. In recent years, with the starting of the construction of the subway, city reconstruction and other projects in Chengdu, and with the implementation of Tianfu New construction projects and the demolition of a lot of dilapidated buildings in Dujiangyan After the2008earthquake,Construction waste production in Chengdu and has been growing rapidly and become the situation of "Fortress Besieged". In order to ensure sustainable development in Chengdu and recycling economy construction, we must conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current situation of construction waste in Chengdu, and search for the construction waste reduction and the resource utilization measures which are appropriate to the actual situation of Chengdu.In order to develop construction waste reduction and recycling strategies in Chengdu scientifically, this article which is based on the current status of construction waste management and Fieldwork in Chengdu, analyzes the factor which hinders the construction waste reduction and Resource utilization development firstly, and solve each of the problem correspond to these factors hereinafter. Then use the existing method to calculate the annual production of construction waste of Chengdu from2005to2013. Based on the data of the calculation this article predicts the annual production of construction of Chengdu from2014to2018and analyzes the effectiveness of case-related industrial chain of construction waste Through the establishment of GM (1,1) gray prediction model. And raised reduction and resource utilization associated technical countermeasures in Chengdu according to the actual situation of Chengdu and advanced experience of nation and foreign.Finally this article raised some policy recommendations about construction waste reduction and recycling in Chengdu, and establishes the push model of construction waste reduction and recycling in Chengdu.Some research methods and specific suggestions could be a reference for the formulating of relevant laws and regulations of Chengdu Municipal Government, and could have some reference value for the relevant enterprises’ work to implement construction waste reduction and resource utilization.
