Technology of liquid ammonia modification successfully settles disadvantages of natural cotton fiber, such as wrinkling, shrinking and dyeing asymmetry. This technology improves products of cotton fiber to an upper-scale development.At present, the internal equipments of liquid ammonia modification directly introduced from Japan, America and Europe, self-employed equipments still in the stage of beginnings. Research center of carpet tufting equipments in Dong Hua University cooperates Shanghai YEAN Textile Technology Limited Liability Company to research on new type of control system and liquid ammonia recycle system of liquid ammonia modification equipments with proprietary intellectual property rights, and breaks the present situation of foreign technological monopoly.This thesis studies and innovates on technology of liquid ammonia modification to cotton fiber, and develops corresponding auto-control inspection system based on new type technology.(1) Formulate new process flow of liquid ammonia modification on the basis of current technology of intermittent type liquid ammonia modification: the theory of microwave drying-out for liquid ammonia removal has been creatively posed and demonstrated by theory analyzing and experiment testing. Compared with the method of ordinary steaming-out liquid ammonia from cotton fiber, microwave drying-out has the advantages of energy-saving, high rate of ammonia recovery, water-repellence and realizing green method for environment protection of modern industrial requirements. Directed towards technologic and characteristic of liquid ammonia modification, end-point of cotton fiber dyeing-out has been decidable analyzed.(2) Finish the analysis and research of control system to complete equipments on the basis of improved technology of liquid ammonia modification to cotton fiber. Firstly, finish the designing of control system framework based on the designs of criteria and requirement, confirm a complete set of control plan combined by PLC control system, field-bus control system and configuration control system have been designed, Ethernet and Devicenet as major communication to the control system have been adopted. Secondly, the hardware selections of lower unit and upper unit control system have been finished based on the structure of control system. Finally, draw up the control sequence, and give research on Fuzzy-PID control system by directed towards determination of nonlinear and reaction end-point during intermittent type producing process.(3) Develop control system of upper unit by using MCGS configuration software. Then, the upper unit control system has the advantage of real-time monitoring, remote controlling, alarm system and functions of forms printing, and these functions have reached standards of industrial developments. According to the communication between lower unit and upper unit control system, redundant Ethernet cataloging style has been adopted, and this style guarantees the system stability and high-speed fluency.Equipments of liquid ammonia modification have been developed and improved, completed the identification of prototype models and medium scale production, stepped into industrialized stages, and will gain good economic efficiency in the future.
