Nitrogenous fertilizer production is an important department in modern chemical industry and the major raw material of which issynthetic ammonia. Being used in agriculture except making chemical fertilizer the synthetic ammonia is produced all the important position in industry, national defense and improvement peoples each aspect of life.According to the present situation of nitrogenous fertilizerproduction in our country, the automation control technology of middle and small-size chemical fertilizer factory is still fairly low. The factories do not accomplish whole centralized control.Which establishes the control room at each section of construction project and carries on local control. In order to raise operation ability, stabilizes outcome and reduce energy consumption, the middle and small-size nitrogenous fertilizer factory firstly should control the major technology parameter and achieve the centralized control step by step. According to automatic control technology and its development situation, the better way that can achieve the transform is DCS. Using DCS first can save energy, second can build mathematical model and realize gradation optimization control. In a word DCS can raise automatic control standard very bigly. This is a development direction of present.During the time I have fully consulted many reference books and knew well the field reality. In the design I used ForceControl to made system interface and system configuration and realized in the laboratory with computer imitating.The major assignment and purpose of this design is to transform and optimize the control system of middle and small-size nitrogenous fertilizer factory which are based on simply backward present situation. What the design consulted and followed is the production system of NanChong flying dragon chemical industry limited duty corporation. This corporation is a medium-sized synthetic ammonia factory that produces 30 thousand tons synthetic ammonia one year. Its automatic control technology is behind present situation. The design chiefly used DCS to control the expert temperature of first transform strove, the ratio of water and carbon, the ratio of hydrogen and nitrogen of synthetic ammonia loop and the pressure of synthetic loop.
