High efficiency and energy saving have been the theme of today’s engineeringmachinery product optimization. Because of the world energy crisis and People’sgrowing environmental awareness, it has been an urgent need of hydraulic excavatorpower-train power-matching control technology for related research. However,compared with foreign at present domestic, there is still a gap with hydraulic excavatorpower-train power-matching control technology, what’s more, the work efficiency ofdomestic hydraulic excavator is generally low, the heating system generates feverseriously, oil temperature will be as high as80degrees above, and all of those havelarge influences on the reliability of the system. Taking CN230hydraulic excavator asthe research object, aiming at energy conservation and consumption reduction,combining with relevant modern design and theory of the dynamic force balance, andestablishing the mathematical model of powertrain, the essay puts forward the powermatching and energy saving scheme, adopts fuzzy control algorithm for control powermatching, and conducts Simulink simulation and real vehicle tests to reduce the energyloss of the system.In this essay, we have done these research works as follows:(1)Analyzing the research present situation of power-train power-matching andenergy saving technology and the main cause of the system’s energy loss, the essayputs forward the research methods of the powertrain and load joint power matching.(2)Establishing the mathematical model of powertrain, for the purpose of controland energy saving, the essay raises a control strategy of stable engine speed and poweradaptive matching. Under the excavator each gear, it can achieve the purpose of energysaving by adjusting the variable displacement pump; According to the energy savingcontrol strategy, the control scheme of dynamic total success rate of matching energysaving was proposed, through means of working condition and control and the constantpower variable pump control to realize the optimum matching of power.(3)Establishing the open loop joint control system mathematical model forhydraulic excavator powertrain, and determining the stability of the open loop jointcontrol system for hydraulic excavator powertrain. It shows that the open-loop jointcontrol system of the powertrain is unstable on the analysis of the BODE Figure,thereby the essay adopts the fuzzy control algorithm to research the closed looppower-matching, and designs a variable pump fuzzy controller. (4)The essay establishes the simulation model of power-train power-matchingcontrol system by adopting Simulink, and analyzes load simulation to verify thefeasibility of the control algorithm.(5)The essay compiles software of the energy-saving control system, controlalgorithm will be written into the ECU controller, and the essay has done the realvehicle test on hydraulic excavator. The simulation and real vehicle test show thatadopting the energy saving control algorithm will reduce the fuel consumption ofengine, can make the engine speed stable around the target speed, and reduces theenergy loss.
