| Objective To investigate the expression of characteristics and the correlation oftransforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1) and interleukin-10(IL-10) in patients with recurrentaphthous ulcer(RAU).In order to understand the change of relationship between cytokine andimmune function, providing possible theoretical basis for the pathogenesis of RAU.Methods40patients of RAU and30healthy were recruited, which were accordancedwith the diagnostic and inclusion criteria for the study. The gender composition and age levelin two groups have no significant difference (P>0.05).The serum levels of TGF-β1and IL-10were measured by the ELISA.Using SPSS17.0professional statistical package to process thedata and to compare the change or the correlation of TGF-β1and IL-10in patients withrecurrent aphthous ulcer(RAU). The value of P≤0.05was defined as significant. Results The serum levels of TGF-β1and IL-10of RAU were higher significantly thanthe normal control group(P<0.05),Climate correlation analysis indicates that there issignificantly positive correlation between TGF-β1and IL-10(r=0.916,P<0.01).Conclusion TGF-β1and IL-10play the possible role in the RAU. |
