Objective To explore the clinical characteristics and prognostic factors ofprimary gastric lymphoma(PGL).Methods The data of60PGL patients treatedfrom January2002to December2011were collected and analyzed restrospectivelyincluding the clinical characteristics and prognostic factors. Results Of the60patients, the most common complaints were abdominal pain, nausea, and weightloss. The most commonly involved site were the corpus, the autrum and thepylorus.Endoscopic biopsy confirmation rate were46.7%. The predominantpathologic subtype in our study was mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT)lymphoma, followed by diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL).The1,3and5-year cumulative survival rates were89.2%,77.2%and72.7%. In univariatesurvival analysis, level of LDH,Lugano staging, histological type, internationalprognostic index (IPI), and treatment modality were obviously correlated with theprognosis(all P<0.05).Histological type(RR=5.877,95%CI:1.330-25.968) andtreatment modality (RR=0.157,95%CI:0.036-0.675) were independentprognostic factors in multivariable analysis(P<0.05).Conclusion There are nospecific clinical features in PGL,and the missed diagnosis rate is high.Histologicaltype and treatment modality are independent prognostic factors.
