Clinical Observation Of The Treatment Of Tou Tong Ning Mixture On Migraine (Liver Wind Agitation,Blood Stasis Obstructing The Collaterals)

Objective To objectively evaluated the clinical effectiveness and security, and to provide a scientific basis for clinical application by observing the effect of Tou Tong Ning Mixture on the clinical symptom score,the TCM points,the headache impact test score,the days of migraine attacks, the number of migraine attacks,duration,the degree of pain and the adverse reactions of patients with migraine (Liver wind agitation, blood stasis obstructing the collaterals)Medthods Based on the inclusion criteria,72patients with migraine were selected. According to the principles of randomized controlled,they were divided into treatment group36examples and control group36examples. The treatment group was given Tou Tong Ning Mixture (element:Chuanxiong30g, Tianma15g,Uncaria10g,Angelica20g, Achyranthes20g, Earthworm10g, Asarum5g, Angelica dahurica10g) day a pair,each time100ml,two times a day orally;the control group was treated with Flunayizine Hydrochloride Capsules(from Xian-janssen pharmaceutical LTD),each time5mg,before sleeping every night orally. Course of treatment were14days. After the treatment,the clinical efficacy,TCM symptom score rating, the headache impact test score,the days of migraine attacks, the number of migraine attacks, duration, the degree of pain and safety index will be evaluated. And related data will be analysised by SPSS statistical software.Result Following on the clinical efficacy,safety and adverse reactions of Tou Tong Ning Mixture and so on statistics analysis, in migraine efficacy,the total effective rate was91.7%in the treatment group, the control group total effectiveness was86.1%, compared with efficacy difference between the two groups was not significant (P>0.05), shows efficacy of the treatment group equal to the control group. To improve the TCM score,the total effective rate was91.7%in the treatment group,the control group total effectiveness was75.0%,compared with efficacy difference between the two groups was significant (P<0.01), shows that the treatment group curative effect surpasses the control group obviously the curatuive effect. To improve the number of migraine attacks and duration, compared with efficacy difference between the two groups was significant (P<0.05), shows that the treatment group surpasses the control group obviously. To improve the days of migraine attacks and the degree of pain, compared with efficacy difference between the two groups was not significant(P<0.05), shows the efficacy of the treatment group equal to the control group.Around after observes the treatment group of patients to apply drugs the obvious untoward effect,explained that this medicine can treat migraine effectively, the security does not have any poisonous side effect.Conclusion It seems that the efficacy of Tou Tong Ning Mixture for migraine is equal to Flunayizine Hydrochloride. Both of them can obviously improve the clinical symptom of migraine. But in improving the efficacy of TCM,it is better than Flunayizine Hydrochlo-ride. And the Tou Tong Ning Mixture appears no obvious adverse reactions and side effecfs,it is worthy to be popularized.
