Objective:Clinical observation of burn patients by a single heat source30cases of deep II degree burns wound dressings by Mepilex Ag sulfadiazine cream, compare Mepilex Ag with sulfadiazine silver wound in healing time, economy, pain, adverse reactions, wound Comfort. Methods:Burns Institute, Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University of the patients treated from March2012to May2013, the total number of patients,30cases,22males and8females, aged12-65years, Actually enrolled burn area3%-25%TBSA (total body surface area),average32.2±11.7years old burn the average area of12.4±5.9%TBSA, into the group of two drugs within36hours after injury. Patients met inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, computer randomization number enrolled for the United States Mepilex Ag (A) and silver sulfadiazine group (B), respectively. By the two Deputy Director (and above title physicians) blinded, wound infection, pain and medication after the first7days,14days,21days,28days, wound healing was observed the rate of wound healing, pain, infection, pain, economic benefits. CRF table data entry, and finishing, use spssll.5software for statistical analysis. Results:Mepilex Ag group in the first14days,21days wound healing rate to be higher than silver sulfadiazine group(P<0.05);7days,28days healing rate was no significant difference(p>0.05); Mepilex Ag group, the average healing time faster than silver sulfadiazine group(P<0.05); Mepilex Ag during the treatment of pain lighter than silver sulfadiazine group(p<0.05);7days Mepilex Ag group for every1%wound treatment costs compared with silver sulfadiazine group is higher, but the long-term total wound healing every wound fee of1%no difference(P>0.05); Mepilex Ag and silver sulfadiazine group were better infection control; the subjects evaluation is better than silver sulfadiazine group(P>0.05). Conclusion:Both of Mepilex Ag and silver sulfadiazine can control wound infection. Burn wounds Mepilex Ag effect on wound healing, economic, pain, applicability than traditional silver sulfadiazine. Mepilex Ag in the treatment of deep second degree burn wounds can be used as a better alternative to traditional wound dressings silver sulfadiazine...
