| [Background]: At present,the repair of dentition defect is divided into partialdenture,fixed partial denture and implant denture repair.In recent years, implant denturerepair doesn’t damage the natural adjacent teeth,and with advatantages of good aestheticeffect,so it become more and more favour of patients.However,the lack of bone mass dueto varies of reasons during the implant treatment needs bone transplantation to meet thecorresponding bone mass. Bone graft is one of the treatment of bone defects.Generally thebest allograft is autogenous bone transplantation, but because the source of autologousbone restricted, and the increase in the patient pain and complications, many scholars havebeen looking for new alternatives. In the bone substitute material research, calcined animalbone obtained biphasic ceramic biologic bone (BCBB),it with natural bone structure ofthe bone graft material gradually receive wide attention. The oral cavity teeth is mainlycomposed of calcium, phosphorus element, it has the similar chemical composition andchemical properties with bone tissue,it can be considered as a potential ideal graftmaterial.Detached through the chemical processing and high temperature calcination canobtained Odontogenic BCBB.[Objective]:To investigate a method for preparing a new bone plant material odon-togenic BCBB,testing its microstructure,and ues animal experiments to valuate theosteogenesis ability of this material.[Methods]:1Preparation of materials The detachment teeth were calcinated first time toremove the organic principle,and second calcinated with the aqua of (NH4)2HPO4,then getodontogenic BCBB.At the same time,a series of examinations were carried out includingof scanning electron microscope(SEM), energy dispersion analysis X-ray. 2Animal experiments27adult New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into3groups.A shin bone defect was made in each rabbitsl on both sides.Three different kinds ofbone grafts were implanted respectively:no grafts, autograft cancellous bone andodontogenic BCBB.4,8,12weeks after implantation,3rabbits in each group were kelled,6samples in each group,the specimens were examined by X-ray and HE histologicalobservation.Then calculate the generation rate of new bones by morphology imageanalysis system.[Results]:The detachment teeth were calcinated first time to remove the organicprinciple,the X-ray observe the prepared composite the main composition of the calcinatedteeth were HA/β-TCP.SEM observation reveals that the ores of the material exhibit auniform distribution and the apertures are of the same in principle.All anmimals cantolerate anesthesia and surgery,mild swelling and ecchymosis of the incison area of earlypostoperative,after surgery the cuts were good healing and no significant inflammatoryresponse.After4-8weeks, the material was going to absorb,the material and the tissuesurrounding are bordered unclearly.After12weeks, odontogenic BCBB was almostdegraded,newly regenerated bone grew into and merged with the material andnon-specific inflammation was found in the tissue around the implants.[Conclusion]:Odontogenic BCBB could get good bone reconstruction.It is hopeful to become a new transplantation material in clinical bone defect treatment if its safety charactercould be futher studied. |
