The Comparative Study On Ischemic Stroke Of Phlegm And Blood Stasis Syndrome Of TCM Treatment Standard

Objective:Application of two kinds of schemes respectively of Yunnan Province Hospital ofTCM(Department of Encephalopathy) and State Administration of TCM to treatment onIschemic Stroke of Phlegm and Blood Stasis Syndrome,the aim was to comparison oftreatment effects.Method:90patients with Ischemic Stroke were randomly divided into two groups.The treat-ment group were given Huatan Tongluo Decoction(90ml.po.tid) which maked by Yunnan Pr-ovince Hospital of TCM,the control group were given Huatan Tongluo ecoction(90ml.po.tid)which maked by State Administration of TCM. At that time, two groups were all given thebasis medicine treatment to control hypertension,diabetes,hyperlipidaemia and so on.All pat-ients in the two groups all treated for14±3days.Observed before and after treatment in bothgroups of the degree of neural function defect scale, Barthel index, integral of syndrome ofTCM and laboratory indexes.Results:1. Integral of syndrome of TCM comparison: The integral of syndrome of TCMcomparison of the patients of both groups before treatment have no difference (P﹥0.05);before and after treatment,the comparison of two groups has statistical difference (P﹤0.05);The results showed that both the two medicines can improve patients′the clinicalsymptoms.After treatment,the comparison of the patients of the two groups also has statisticaldifference (P﹤0.05); The results showed that the treatment group was better than the controlgroup.2. The degree of neural function defect scale scores comparison: The comparison of the degree of neural function defect scale scores of the patients of both groups before treatmenthave no difference (P﹥0.05); before and after treatment,the comparison of this scales scoreof the patients of the every group has obvious statistical difference (P﹤0.01);The resultsshowed that the two medicines can improve patients′nerve function.After treatment,thecomparison of this scales scores of the patients of the two groups also has obviousstatistical difference (P﹤0.01); The results showed that the treatment group was better thanthe control group.3. Barthel index scale score comparison: The comparison of Barthel index scale scoresof the patients of both groups before treatment have no difference (P﹥0.05); before and aftertreatment,the comparison of this scales score of two groups has statistical difference (P﹤0.05);The results showed that the two medicines can improve patients′life self-careability.After treatment,the comparison of the scales scores of the patients of the two groupsalso has statistical difference (P﹤0.05); The results showed that the treatment group wasbetter than the control group.4.Assessment of the therapeutic efficacy: two groups after treatment for symptomobservation by TCM,20patients showed excellent in efficiency,19demonstrated effectiveand6with no response in the treatment group,the total effective rate was86.7%.As for thecontrol group,9cases were significantly effective,27cases were effectual and9cases wereunfruitful with a total cure rate of80%. Total effective rate showed a significantly statisticaldifference between the two groups(P﹤0.05).The treatment group in improving clinicalsymptoms were better than the control group.5.Safety judgement:During treatment,by the treatment group,1patient after medicationabdominal pain and2cases feel like vomiting,but it is easy to be accepted by patient andthose disappeared after2-5days; The control group no obvious adverse reactions. Twogroups’s laboratory values compared with before treatment were no significant differences (P﹥0.05).Conclusion:Both two groups of Huatan Tongluo Decoction are safe and effective.They botheffectively improve the degree of neural function defect scale,Barthel index,integral ofsyndrome of TCM.It has no effect on the blood, liver function, and kidney function. No adverse reactions and side effects were observed during the clinical observation.The HuatanTongluo Decoction of Yunnan Province Hospital of TCM is better than the StateAdministration of TCM in those three aspects,and it is worthy of further study.
