Effects Of Rhubarb And Sodium Bicarbonate Tablets In Protection Of Gastrointestinal Impetus Function On Serious Burns

Objective:To observe the effects of Rhubarb and Sodium Bicarbonate Tablets inprotection of gastrointestinal impetus function on serious burns at early stage.Methods:Fifty-four SD rats were randomly divided into normal group(N，n=6)，control group(B， n=24)， therapeutic group(S， n=24).And control group andtherapeutic group were randomly divided into four time points after injury (6h,12h,24h,48h)，each time point had6SD rats. Processing method:(1) N group: not treated,observed barium sulfate suspension distance migration in the small intestineaccounted for the percentage of the value of the entire small intestine and plasmaMTL, SP, VIP, SS content.(2)B group:30%back Ⅲ degree burn model was prepared,and2ml saline was gavaged immediately after injury,2times a day.(3)S Group:prepared in the same method as30%back Ⅲ degree burn model, Which a rhubarband sodium bicarbonate tablets dissolved in2ml saline was gavaged at the same timewith Group B.30minutes before each time point, rats were gavaged with bariumsulfate suspension (2mL/100g).at each time point,Rats were killed by cervicaldislocation, laparotomized, and then took the stomach and small intestine tiles onblack paper in order to observe barium sulfate suspension distance migration in thesmall intestine accounted for the percentage of the value of the entire smallintestine.And at the same time, rat peritoneal venous blood were extracted so as todetection the content of serum MTL, SP, VIP, SS by enzyme-linked immunosorbentassay.Results:(1) The rat small intestinal propulsion in6h after injury began to fall, thepercentage of12h had fallen to the lowest, the percentage of24h had began to pickup, the percentage of48h was still lower than normal group; therapeutic group ateach time point and percentage of small intestine propulsion was obviously higherthan that of control group.(2)MTL and SP began to decline in6h after injury and reached the lowest value，that began to rise in12hours，that was still lower thannormal in48h.The falling range of MTL and SP in therapeutic group was significantlylower,and that were higher than the control group at each time point. In48h afterinjury, the MTL and SP in therapeutic group were close to the normal.(3)VIP and SPreached the maximum value in6h after injury,that began to fall in12hours，that wasstill higher than normal in48h.The ascensional range of VIP and SS in therapeuticgroup was significantly lower,and that were lower than the control group at each timepoint. In48h after injury, the VIP and SS in therapeutic group were close to thenormal.Conclusion：1.Gastrointestinal peristalsis and propulsion functions had gone down after severeburns.2.Rhubarb and Sodium Bicarbonate Tablets could modulate plasma gastrointestinalhormone secretion and release in the early serious burns to improved the depressedstate of Gastrointestinal dynamic system, thereby protecting the gastrointestinalimpetus function.
