Farmers seeing a doctor, has been hindering obstacles to improve the quality of life of the peasants. Although in order to solve the problems of the difficulty and high cost of farmers’ to see a doctor, the government introduced the new rural cooperative medical system, problems are settled to a certain extent, at present the system has not yet mature, in the process of implementation problems need to be further resolved in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the new rural cooperative medical system and completely solve the medical problems of farmers. Survival plight of the rural doctors make the resentment of doctors in rural areas of the new rural cooperative medical system, which is the causes of some of the issues in the implementation of the new rural cooperative medical system. This article is to clarify that there is a close connection between plight of doctors in rural areas to solve and the implementation of the new rural cooperative medical system, in order to find countermeasures to improve the living conditions of rural doctors and solve the corresponding problem in the implementation of the new rural cooperative medical system.The main content of this article is to first expounded course of development and current status of doctors in rural areas, then as an example in A town, analysis of the plight of the rural doctors to affect the implementation of the new rural cooperative medical system, use of Maslow’s needs hierarchy theory, the theory of public goods and two-factor theory of motivation to explain that the plight of doctors in rural areas affects the new rural cooperative medical system implemented. To solve the problems faced by rural doctors will solve some of the obstacles encountered in the new rural cooperative medical system implementation. It is concluded with several recommendations to improve the situation of rural doctors.
