Methods:â‘ T he study of the required samples are selected from the Department ofNeurosurgery of Affiliated Hospital of Luzhou Medical College during2010-2012after operation excisions and pathological diagnosis ofmeningioma specimens of77cases, all patients in the preoperation have’tacceptted any treatment, which have pathological and clinical data.20normal brain tissues from patients as the control group weredecompressed in head traumas.â‘¡Preparation of specimens, andclassification of meningiomas.â‘¢F or meningiomas and immunohist-ochemical staining of normal meningeal tissue, detection of osteopontinprotein and its receptor expression of CD44molecule.â‘£Under theguidance of teachers in the pathology department,we could learn andmaster reading techniques, which two people record expression of twoindexes in the normal brain meninges and membrane of tumor tissue(including the positive indicators of colors, locations in the cell and soon). Results:â‘ The expressions of OPN in normal meninges have themainly negative, however the positive expression in meningioma tissues are increased, having the statistical differences(Z=-4.858,P=0.000<0.05),â‘¡and there are also difference between â… a nd â…¡ expressionsof thepositive in meningiomas tissues(Z=-3.803,P=0.000<0.05). The sameexpression of the positive between â… a nd â…¢meningioma tissues werestatistically significant(Z=-4.333,P=0.000<0.05). But the difference ofpositive between the II and III meningiomas are obvious for (Z=-0.124,P=0.901>0.05).â‘¢There are differences between invasive andnon-invasive meningiomas (Z=-4.785,P=0.000<0.05). Expression ininvasive meningiomas are mainly positive and strong positive.â‘£OPNexpression and peritumoral edema in meningiomas with positive levelswere positively correlated(r=0.662,P=0.000<0.05)⑤C D44inmeningi-oma tissues and meningiomas grades are positive correlation (Z=-4.175,P=0.000<0.05)â‘¥a nd there are obvious differences between â… a ndâ…¡expressions in the positive of meningiomas tissues(Z=-3.724,P=0.000<0.05), while obvious differences expressions of the positivebetween â… and â…¢ in meningiomas(Z=-4.319, P=0.000<0.05)But thedifference between the II and III meningiomas positive are obvious for(Z=-0.547,P=0.585>0.05).⑦CD44also has the significant differencebetween invasive and non invasive meningiomas(Z=-4.726,P=0.000<0.05). Expressions in invasive meningiomas are mainlypositive and strong positive.⑧CD44expression and peritumoral edemain meningiomas organization level without dependencies (r=0.029, P=0.801>0.05).⑨The OPN and CD44molecules in meningioma tissuesare positively correlated (r=0.978, P=0.000<0.05). Conclusion:â‘ OPNand its receptor CD44expression ability are higher in meningiomas thannormal meninges with the increase of meningiomas’ levels.Positiveexpression that there may be between the occurrence, development andclassification of meningiomas and links.â‘¡The positive expression ofinvasion meningioma tissues are significantly higher than non invasivemeningiomas, which positive expression s between two of them haverelationship with the invasiveness of meningiomas.â‘¢The higher theOPN expression in meningioma tissue, tumor weeks edema occur, thegreater the chances of positive expression of OPN and tumor weeksedema has certain relevance.â‘£the expression of CD44or not and tumorweeks edema, significant association was observed in this study.⑤TheOPN is positively associated with CD44, both in meningioma occurrence, development and evolution process of synergetic effects. With a view toexploring the OPN of CD44and its receptor in Meningioma in theoccurrence and development of the potential role of providingexperimental basis... | | Keywords/Search Tags: | osteopontin, CD44molecule, meningioma, immunohistohemi-cal | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
