Clinical Research On The Effect Of Gu Ben Zhu Yang Fang In Treating Chronic Heart Failure (Syndrome Of Yang Deficiency Of Heart And Kidney)

Object: To observe the clinical effect of Gu Ben Zhu Yang Fang in treating thesyndrome of yang deficiency of heart and kidney in Chronic Heart Failure, explore themechanism of its effect, appraisal its effect and security, aiming at providing practical andvaluable way to the treatment of the Chronic Heart Failure.Methods: According to the standards included in this case,60cases of both inpatientsand outpatients were divided randomly into two groups equally: treating group and controlgroup. The control group with30cases were dosed with routine western medicine,and thetreating group with30cases were dosed with Gu Ben Zhu Yang Fang on the basic treat ofroutine western medicine,and appraised the curative effect after four weeks. It wassystematically observed and compared the classification of cardiac function（NYHA）,clinical symptoms or signs, results of echocardiography which including strokevolume,cardiac output,cardiac index,ejection function and E/A,results of6minutes walktest,results of hemorheology and NT-proBNP.liver and renal function was also observedbefore and after this treatment.Results: after four weeks’treatment,the clinical research showed that the treatmentgroup was better than the control group in cardiac function，Lee’s failure Points，total effectof Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） syndromes（P＜0.05）;analysis of singlesymptom of Traditional Chinese Medicine（TCM）showed that the treatment group wasbetter than the control group in the degree of improvement of edema and oliguria（P＜0.01）,and the same in symptoms including chest tightness or pain, tiredness,short ofbreath,fear of cold and cold limbs,the debility of lumbar and knee and depression（P＜0.05）. The treatment group was also better in the results of echocardiography （P＜0.05）,as well as the reduced degree of hemorheology（P＜0.05）and NT-proBNP（P＜ 0.05）.The treatment group was better in the degree of improvement of6minutes walk test（P＜0.05）.Liver and renal function didn’t change too much before and after thistreatment（P＞0.05）.Conclusion: Gu Ben Zhu Yang Fang can ameliorate clinical symptoms, improve thequality of life of the patients with CHF.It is worthy to be applied and promoted in the clinicwith good security and the tolerance.
