Rhododendron total flavonoids, the general term of flavonoids extracted from the mountain leaves, which has obvious exact effect on acute and chronic bronchitis, asthma disease. At present the Chinese Patent Medicine Preparation of Rhododendron total flavonoids has listed, such as Xiaokechuan tablets, Qinbaohong granules and xiaokechuan syrup, which have the disadvantage of small dose, taking more, inconvenience in long-term medication for clinical patients, especially the elderly patients. Meanwhile, the effective components have small solubility, which make most of ordinary preparations of Rhododendron total flavonoids that have low Bioavailability. This paper used methods of solid dispersion technology to improve the solubility and dissolution in vitro of the Rhododendron total flavonoids, and then made into the Microporosity osmotic pump tablets.Firstly, this paper had quality control study of Rhododendron total flavonoids investigated by the shape, TLC identification, inspection, Determination of content, and stablished the method of determining release degrees in vitro and UV detection of Rhododendron total flavonoids,which laid the foundation for future prescription screening and evaluation of the quality of the preparation.Rhododendron total flavonoids was prepared the olid dispersion, and investigated the influence of various factors, including the kind and amount of the carrier, the solvent and the method of preparation, selected the best prescription, and prepared the ideal solid dispersion. Finally, this paper made UV determination of drug content, which provided the basis for the later Formulation screening.This paper used single-factor test method to investigate the presser method, the tablet hardness, the types of filler, the varieties and the dosage of Penetration enhancers, the variety and dosage of ssblockers, the type and dosage of solubility regulator, the dosage of plasticizer DBP, the type and dosage PEG, and the coating thickness, which have effect on of the drug release.In addition,this paper adopt f2 similar factor method judge the similarity of each drug delivering curve and screened the main factors of influence on drug release, which was lactose dosage, the dosage of PEG400and coating agent thickness.And to optimize the formulations of hawthorn leaves flavonoids microporosity osmotic pump tablets by a central composite design-response surface methodology and to fit the the optimum with the prescription0-level model, the primary model and the Higuchi model. Results show that the optimization prescription0-level model and zero-order release characteristics is significant.Finally, this paper had a quality control study for microporosity osmotic pump tablets of Rhododendron total flavonoids solid dispersion, investigated by the character, TLC identification, inspection and preliminary stability, preliminary stability results showed that the preparations have certain hygroscopic, which should be kept in a dry and closed place. But high temperature, high humidity and accelerated testing had no significant influence on the preparations...
