A Research On The Relevance Between Hypothyroidism And Early Threatened Abortion And The Effect Of Antai Recipe To Thyroid Function

Objective:To observe the relationship between early threatened abortion and hypothyroidism, and to observe the intervention effect of Antai Recipe on the early threatened abortion patients who have subclinical hypothyroidism.Methods:There were812cases were collected, which included52cases of healthy weman at childbearing age,109cases of normal pregnant women and651cases of threatened abortion patients who treatment in reproductive medicine of Suzhou Chinese Medicine Hospital from January2011to December2012. Measured their serum thyroid function (TT3, TT4, FT3, FT4, TSH, TPOAb, TGAb), and compared between each group of thyroid function;57cases of threatened abortion patients with subclinical hypothyroidism were chosen and randomly divided into2groups. The Chinese medicine treatment group was administered with Antai Recipe while the Chinese and Western medicine treatment group was administered with Antai Recipe decoction and Thyroxine tablets, to detect the thyroid function before and after treatment; pregnancy were followed up to12weeks of gestation.Results:(1)Pregnancy group was compared with the childbearing age group and threatened abortion group:The serum T3and T4levels of pregnancy group were higher than the childbearing age group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05); the TSH level of threatened abortion group was higher than early pregnancy group (3.53uIU/ml&2.41uIU/ml), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); threatened abortion group had a higher incidence of SCH than early pregnancy group (63.8%&43.2%), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05);(2) the TPOAb positive rates of pregnancy group and threatened abortion groups were significantly different (12.8%&28.6%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);(3) Compared the levels of thyroid function before and after treatment:the T4levels increased in the Chinese medicine treatment group compared with the previous, and FT3, TSH levels dropt, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the T3, T4levels of the Chinese and Western medicine treatment group rose after treatment, FT3,TSH levels decreased than before treatment, the difference were statistically significant (P<0.05); Compare with two groups, after treatment,T4, FT3, TSH level were no significant difference; no difference between the two groups during early pregnancy outcomes.(4) the E2, HCG levels of Pregnancy group were positive correlation with T4, and showed a negative correlation with TSH (p<0.05), HCG was negatively correlated with FT3(p<0.01).Conclusion:Hypothyroidism and the occurrence of early threatened abortion are related, especially subclinical hypothyroidism and threatened abortion is closely related to the occurrence, mainly as TSH levels rise, FT4levels were normal; TPOAb positive and threatened abortion incidence has an important relationship; Antai Recipe can effectively improve the state of early threatened abortion patients with subclinical hypothyroidism, thereby improving pregnancy outcomes, there is a same effect on traditional Chinese medicine treat and traditional Chinese medicine with small dose of western medicine treat to improve thyroid function; during normal early pregnancy state, T4, TSH levels and HCG,E2is correlated, which T4elevate with HCG and E2levels rise, TSH elevate with HCG and E2decreased, it’s worthy of further study.
