Objective:To study aims to learn about the mental health status and life quality of patients with cervical cancer, and analyzes the relationship between positive acceptance and striving and life quality of patients with cervical cancer.Methods:In this study,70patients with cervical cancer in Hunan tumor hospital are tested by general population characteristics of scale, Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Zung anxiety rating Scale (SAS), Positive Acceptance and Striving Questionnaire, Trait Coping Style Questionnaire (TCSQ) and FACT-C questionnaire.Results:(1) Patients with cervical cancer in elder group have significantly higher score of GP and GE, and lower score of GF than patients in younger group (GP:17.67±7.7vs11.70±8.1,P<0.05;GE:16.39±6.0vs11.36±6.6,P<0.01; GP:6.28±6.7vs12.7±93,P<0.05).(2) Total scores of acceptable factor, striving factor and positive acceptance and striving have significantly positive correlation with active coping style scores (r=0.687-0.717, P<0.01),while they have no significant correlation with negative coping style.(3) Total scores of acceptable factor, aggressive factor and positive acceptance and striving are related to patients’depression and anxiety scores obviously and negatively (r=0.646-0.694,P<0.001).(4) Total scores of acceptable factor, aggressive factor and positive acceptance and striving are linked to the scores of physiological status and emotional status(r=0.578-0.619,P<0.001); and they are significantly and positively correlated with the scores of social or family status and functional status(r=r=0.631-0.669, P<0.001)(5) Multiple linear regression analysis shows that active coping style, SAS and acceptable factor have an great effect on predicting life quality, and can also explain24.3%of variation.Conclusion:(1) The higher the degree to which patients with cervical cancer have positive acceptance and striving is, the better life quality is.(2) Positive Acceptance and Striving Scale can be applied to patients with cervical cancer.
