Objective:Observing the effects of anti-aging by moxibustion on Zusanli and Shenque points on D-galactose aging rats and comparing the difference between the effect of acupuncture. To provide experimental basis for clinical application. Methods:By using the D-galactose injected into the subcutaneously neck of rats to established aging model.48healthy male SD rats were’ randomly divided into4groups:blank control group, aging model group, zusanli group, shenque group, with12rats in each Group. Acupuncture points including the zusanli point, Shenque point. By using the Morris water maze test to detect the ability of learning and memory, And using the Animal treadmill test to detect the ability of anti fatigue, The superoxide dismutase activity (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA) content and lipofuscin (LF) level were assayed by using xanthineoxidase, thiobarbituric acid and fluorescence spectrophotometry respectively, HE staining were observed in each group of rat hippocampal CA1cell morphology.Results:1. Comparing with the blank control group, the Common signs of model group were generally poor; Morris water maze latency and the total distance of exploration were significantly prolonged; Animaltreadmill test the actual running time were Significantly reduced and the number of shocks were Significantly increased; SOD activity were significantly decreased, MDA and LF level were significantly increased; The Organ index decreased significantly; The Hippocampal CA1cell morphology were Pathologic changed.(P<0.05orP<0.01)2. Comparing with the model group, the Common signs of Zusanli and Shen Que group were obviously improved; Morris water maze latency and the total distance of exploration were significantly reduced; Animal treadmill test the actual running time were Significantly increased and the number of shocks were Significantly reduced; SOD activity were significantly increased, MDA and LF level were significantly decreased; The Organ index were significantly increased; The Hippocampal CA1cell morphology were improved (P<0.05orP<0.01)3. Comparing with the zusanli group, Each index of the shenque group were no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:1. Moxibustion on Zusanli and Shenque points can improve the body’s antioxidant capacity, remove excess free radicals and reduce oxidative damage, to slow the aging process.2. There are anti-aging effects by moxibustion on Zusanli and Shenque points on D-galactose aging rats, and there is no obvious effect difference between the two points.
