Objective:The present study provides a scientific theory Insomnia basis for the treatment of heart and spleen deficiency type through clinical observation of acupuncture treatment by warm heart and spleen deficiency type insomnia, active research and exploration of the safe and effective treatment of heart and spleen deficiency type insomnia method.Methods:80cases of clinical heart and spleen type of insomnia from Second Affiliated Hospital Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine acupuncture during the period from October2011to December2012were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Ordinary acupuncture combining warm acupuncture treatment was employed in the treatment group, while the control group used ordinary acupuncture. Both groups were treated once daily,12times as a treatment protocol with three courses of treatment in total. Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scale efficacy standards and "mental illness treatment standard draft amendment" relating to insomnia were used to determine its efficacy. Statistical research data by SPSS statistical software, measurement data with the mean standard deviation, comparison within groups using paired samples t test, intergroup comparison using independent sample t test, count data using the chi-square test. P<0.05indicates statistical significance, P<0.01indicates a significant difference.Results:Clinical results showed that the total efficiency of treatment group with40cases where8cases were clinically cured and29cases improved,3cases ineffective has a total effective rate of92.5%; control group with40cases, including2cases of clinically cured,28cases improved,10ineffective cases has a total effective rate of75%. Processed by statistical software, PSQI various factors before and after treatment and the contrast difference scores were statistically significant (P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) between time to fall asleep, sleeping time, sleeping efficiency, daytime function and total scores (P>0.05).The total score of clinical signs of traditional Chinese medicine of the two treatment group before and after treatment as well as intergroup before and after treatment were statistically significantly different (P<0.05)Conclusion:Wen acupuncture treatment of insomnia was demonstrated to have a good heart and spleen deficiency type of treatment with clinical efficacy significantly better than the control group. Wen acupuncture can effectively improve the sleeping quality ofpatients with heart and spleen deficiency type insomnia and relieve pain caused by insomnia. According to the data of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) scale provided, it can be seen that the acupuncture group in terms of extending warm at sleep time, improvement of sleep quality and sleep efficiency, sleep disorders and other aspects of mitigation are better than ordinary acupuncture group. The effect of Warm heart and spleen deficiency type of acupuncture treatment of insomnia is remarkable with the characteristics like secure application, fewer side effects, combined with an absolute advantage in the current clinical practice.
