Clinical Observation Of Yougui Pills Combined With Estrogen And Progestogen On The Treatment Of Kidney-Yang Deficiency Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding In Perimenopausal Period

Objective:To treat kidney-yang deficiency dysfunctional uterine bleeding in perimenopausal period, a research was conducted to compare the patients’clinical efficacy between a treatment group and a control group which both applying the sequential therapy of estrogen and progestogen, but with the difference of using Yougui Pills. This dissertation will preliminarily discuss the advantages of combination of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine in treating perimenopause dysfunctional uterine bleeding and to provide an effective treatment of this disease.Method:In the research,68cases of patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group. The patients in the treatment group, who were provided Yougui Pills, took estradiol valerate orally since the5th day of menstruation or within7days after the Clinical shave, and took dydrogesterone on the11th day. By contrast, the patients in the control group applied hormone therapy alone. It is one treating cycle by taking the therapy for21days and3treating cycles constitute one course. Certain items were observed and follow-up studied half a year, including the two groups patients’ recent hemostatic efficacy, the improvement of the kidney Yang deficiency symptoms, the improvement of anemia and the change of endometrial thickness.Result:By comparing the treatment group and the control group, the treatment group maintains a comparative curative hemostasis effect(P<0.05). By comparing the adjustment of the menstrual cycle, TCM symptom score, TCM syndrome, hemoglobin, ultrasound measurements of the two groups, the statistical differences were significant (P<0.05). In the treatment group, the treatment effect is affected by the course of the disease(P<0.05). The treatment was more effective on a shorter course of disease. The recurrence rate of the treatment group is much lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:It has a good clinical efficacy to apply the sequential therapy of estrogen and progestogen with Yougui Pills on the treatment of kidney-yang deficiency dysfunctional uterine bleeding in perimenopausal period. It has an obvious advantage to regulate menstruation cycle, improve anemia and relieve relevant clinical syndrome of perimenopause. Moreover, the adverse reaction and the recurrence rate of the Yougui Pills treatment is low, which is worth to be popularized.
