Objective:To compare the incidence of deep venous thrombosis rate of elderlypeople after total hip replacement in general anaesthesia and in spinal-epiduralanesthesia.Methods:There were totally135patients in this study selected according to theselection criteria from June2013to December2013the eldly patients after totalhip replacement were divided into two groups.52patients in generalanesthesia,52patients in in the spinal-epidural anaesthesia.Dopplerultrasonography was used to detect deep venous thrombosis of bilateral lowerextremities in all patients befor operation and at4~8days、15days afteroperation. and analyze the rates of the incidence of deep venous thrombosis. Results:The deep venous thrombosis can be found in20patients.the incidence ofgeneral anethesia is30.80%(16/52)by the contribution of16patients;theincidence of spinal-epidural anethesia is7.67%(4/52)by the contribution of4patients.It is significantly(P<0.05)that the incidence of general anethesiagroup is higher than the spinal-epidural anaesthesia group. Conclusion:In the comparation with general anethesia, the spinal-epidural anaesthesiais a better choice because of the lower incidence in eldly patients of deepvenous thrombosis after total hip replacement.
