| The translation task is given by Beijing Guideline Research&Consultation Co., Ltd.,and the writer is responsible to translate its Monthly Market Analysis on China DTV releasedin June,2012. The writer has translated the original Chinese version into Englishindependently.This report consists of four parts. Part one makes an introduction to material, textcontents and its characteristics. Part two is the whole translation process, including thetranslation guidance theory—skopos theory, problems to be solved and the final review.Part three contains the analysis of specific sentences translation, in which the key points aresynonyms selection, new words translation, phrase free translation, word order adjustmentand logic analysis.
