As one of the important representatives of French philosophy and literature, Albert Camus always focused his energy on absurdity. Depending on the specific historical background, Camus adopted and facilitated the discourses by the past philosophers, and formed his unique Absurd philosophy. Through reading his works, we can find that his works probed into the things which were closely related to existence, such as the relationship among absurdity, human being and the word, the world’s impenetrableness, humans’attitudes towards or actions on absurdity and so on.In the philosophic thinking of Camus,"absurdity" is the starting point and "resistance" is the core. He thought the world was impenetrable and human’s existence was unreasonable. Human, the world and the opposition between human and the world were very important in the definition of his "absurdity", and they three constituted vagarious "the trinity". He regarded absurdity (a kind of subject consciousness) as the starting point of his philosophy and formed his famous Absurd philosophy. When facing to absurd, Camus denied two ways of suicide:physiological suicide and philosophical suicide, and then raised resistance as the right way.He advocated that we should find our footholds instantly, fighting against the absurd by free choice and real actions. He thought that resistance was a reaction of the breaking of limits and balance, and then regarded "Common humanity" as the limit of resistance. If exceeding the limit, resistance would lose it’s meaning. Both of "Metaphysical Resistance" and "History Resistance" break the limit of resistance, so they are both corrupt resistance. Camus advocated "the Ancient Greek Thought" and regarded it as the principle of resistance.Generally speaking, Camus’philosophy of absurdity brings hope and aesthetic, instead of sickness and ugliness to people. He dissatisfied that existential philosophers equated the survival condition of human with human nature itself and finally into nihilism. He refused nihilism and tried to find a road to happiness in the world of absurdity。...
