In the history of human development,"father" through ages of evolution is nolonger simply as the biological significance of the call, but is closely related with thesocial politics, economy, culture, represents a kind of power, a symbol of an order,means a kind of strength. The relationship between father and children is reflected notonly in the family sense, at particular times more prominent contradiction betweensocial in nature, reflecting the deep patterns of cultural heritage. This paper is basedon the patriarchal and father’s perspective, through the interpretation of the image offather in Chinese classical novels, try a different category induction father image, andstudy the evolution of patriarchy and love in Chinese culture from different types offather image, in order to further tap the relationship between literature and social andcultural changes.The thesis is divided into six chapters, the first chapter introduces the father imageperspective--patriarchy and father, briefly discusses the patriarchal and paternalorigin, connotation and relationship, and summarizes the research on the presentsituation and the framework of the paper father figure.
