This is a classroom training report of "Mock Conference Interpreting" under the guidance of task-based learning approach.In this report, classroom training will be showed and analyzed step by step. Then, methods of how to improve interpreting ability in the instance of limited learning hour during class will be summarized.Research findings have indicated that the task-based model of learning can motivate us learners to some degree, that it creates a real interpreting scene where we can show our initiative, creativity, team-work spirit and ability of using language and other knowledge. Therefore, classroom training of "Mock Conference Interpreting" under the guidance of task-based learning approach means a lot to us MTI students because it provides a lot of help for us in our self-study and helps us to be qualified interpreters. Through the classroom training, we learn that an interpreting task can be divided into three steps:preparation, execution and summarization. After the completion of every task, we can review and make summarization in the three steps because experience accumulating is of great importance to our training.
