Practice Report On The Interpreting Of U.S Justice Association Representatives Visiting Guyuan Prison At Hebei Province

This is an interpretation practice report. It describes an interpretation task about twoguests from American Association for Justice visiting Guyuan Prison. Through analyzing thetask background and several phases such as preparation stage, interpreting process andassessment by client, the report finds some problems during the process and tries to give someconstructive solutions from theories and practical experience.One conference consecutive interpretation text is chosen as the case where three typicalproblems are mentioned. They are “Chinese subject ellipsis”,“the application of omission”,“sentence reintegration”. About these problems this report gives its solutions.Meanwhile, this report also suggests some practicable methods to other representativeproblems appearing in the task such as listening, understanding and expression.
