Explanation Selected And Research On "Turn The Dead·Offer The Broth"(Ed.) From Naxi Dongba Scripture

Dongba character, which is regarded as a ancient writing, is used by minority southwest China. Naxi language called it "Sen jiu1u jiu",which means the traces of wood. Since it is so far the only used in the world of the original text of the sample, studying it can help to enrich the research of general character’s subject and history of character.This article selects "over the dead-offered the broth·Ed." From No.56tome of "corpora of Naxi Dongba ancient books" as a basic research material. Firstly,we makes the explanation to each character of the scriptures in detail. On this basis, we research the Dongba character with reference to the theory of Chinese graphological ontology put forward by Mr Li Yunfu. The-study includes three terms" The font of the word, the structure of the word, the use of the word". The article does the research on the external font，the internal structure of Dongba character and Dongba character’s function of recording the language.This article is divided into three parts, the second chapter of word explaination and the using of words in the third chapter is the main content. The part of word explaination is typical sample selected from the scriptures. The concrete method is:using the naxi pictographs spectrum as reference books, marks the pronunciation and meaning for Dongba character in the scriptures, then further illustrate its using situation in the scriptures.In the end, marks the corresponding sound and dongba text for full page. The research of the use of words is on the basis of word explaination. It studys the Dongba character of the scriptures in the round. The part is divided into three research levels including research of the font, research of word structure and research of word use. Among them, the chapter of font study mainly includes the forms and the characteristics of dongba character font, also it analyses the factors affecting the formation of the font. Word structure study chapter focuses on the types of the structure in Dongba character and characteristics of each structure type in use, and statistics and analysis each type of Dongba character in detail. The chapter of words in use includes number of words and word frequency and word attribute, also includes the research of relationship between words.
