| With the implementing of lifelong education and construction of learning society and with the rapid development of information technology in the name of computer and internet, people’s ways of life have got world-shaking changes, so as the learning methods. People’s learning ways are in the multiple trends of network, individuation and cooperative inquiry. During the process, informal learning has been valued. At present, researches of informal learning mainly focus on the area of adults’ vocational training and continuing education. The study on university students’ informal learning is at the preliminary stage. Under this circumstance, informal learning should be taken seriously, especially for the students group, who have much more learning capacity and need. Informal learning of the university students in learning environment based on the internet is a way worthy of study and application. This study aims to explore the characteristics of university students’informal learning in learning environment based on the Internet.This study choses an English major student from CNU with her texts in QQ Zone and her chat group members and their texts in QQ chat group as the object of the study. Qualitative approaches are adopted. An interview is used to study on the college students’ informal learning in learning environment based on the Internet And content analysis is adopted to deeply analyze the process and content from the clue perspective. At last, through the comprehensive analysis, we make a conclusion on the characteristics and existing problems of college students’ informal learning in learning environment based on the Internet. Based on the statistics and detailed analysis of the data, the major findings are as follows: University students’ informal learning in learning environment based on the Internet occurs mostly based on the basis of interest; the content and time of college students’ informal learning based on the Internet have strong uncertainty; students are willing to interact with others and their roles are diverse; college students’ informal learning clues are multiple and instable; the learners need to have enough self-control capacity; college students’ informal learning in learning environment based on the Internet has been well integrated into their daily lives. |
