The Turkey’s Middle East Policy Under Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s Governing

Turkey is a large country in the Middle East, the special geographical location,favorable conditions for Turkey to play a geopolitical implications to display theirdiplomatic ambitions. The The last Turkish government was indifference to the affairsof the Middle East, focus their attention on the development of foreign policyrelations with the United States and the EU. Having been obstructed on the accessionto the EU,and West strategetic challenged, the AKP uphold-ed the attitude ofpragmatism advocated, turn their attention to the East,especially the Arab counties.The Middle East has also become Erdogan’s Government perfect stage to display theirdiplomatic fists.In this paper, the analysis methods to analyze the Erdogan governmentdiplomacy in the Middle East are historical and interdisciplinary analysis, and thetheory is soft power. To develop good relations with neighbors under the ZeroProblem Policy, and to enhance Turkey’s international political influence withactively attitude of involving in the Middle East.Cooperating and exchanging invarious fields with the countries int he Middle East, to open a new chapter of political,economic, cultural and other all-round, three-dimensional diplomacy.Emphasis on the advantages of their own geopolitical and national soft powercombined to expand the influence of Turkey Erdogan’s government prominent foreignpolicy. Under the guidance of the New diplomatic thinking, the Government ofTurkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan will play an important role in the Middle East region,to expand its international influence and grow as a large country with globalimpact.The purpose of this paper is to provide some ideas for the development of ourcountry’s relations with surrounding countries through the study of Turkey Erdogan’sgovernment’s Middle East policy.Erdogan’s government is good at combininggeographical advantage with its own soft power is worthy of our country to learnfrom.
