Somehow, these argumentsalso provide some practical needs to the research of the article.The article will combine mobileGIS technology with the elderly’s security problem closely, using the advantages of GIStechnology and powerful analysis function to support the development and operation of elderly’ssafety monitoring system. The system generally includes the subsystems of mobile GIS, thebackground monitor and management system, and the Web information distribution subsystem.Along with the social development and technological progress, the society demands forgeographic information service is also in constant expansion.
