Separation copper and zinc sulfide ore can be difficult due to the zinc mineral activated bydissolution copper ions. Copper and zinc minerals embedded fine particle size, the symbioticrelationship is complex,the activated zinc mineral has the same floatability as chalcopyrite.Strengthen collect the chalcopyrite and depressing zinc mineral as well as sorting processimprovement mainly methods to solve the problem.And use the differences in chalcopyrite、sphalerite and christophite surface properties, using new organic depressants has abilitydepressing sphalerite and christophite and weak depressing chalcopyrite is a very important way.Chalcopyrite、sphalerite and christophite as flotation objects, systematic study of smallmolecule organic depressants Yn rejection performance. The single mineral experimental studieshave shown that small molecule organic depressants Yn deperssing the ability size order:christophite> sphalerite> chalcopyrite. Artificial mixed ore and ore flotation test small moleculeorganic depressants Yn better separation of refractory copper-zinc ore.Usinga small molecule organic depressants Yn flotation separation complex copper-zinc oreof Dachang of Guang Xi, gaining copper concentrate has grade of23.15%,copper recovery78.24%, and zinc5.61%. And compared to the conventional inhibitor ZnSO4+Na2SO3, smallmolecule organic depressants Yn copper concentrate copper grade and copper recovery can beincreased by4.59percentage points and8.83percentage points, the zinc content is reduced by2.61percentage points.Using contact angle zeta potential and infrared spectrum test method and means, discussesthe mechanism of depressing of contact angle determination shows that Yn affected by theflotability of chalcopyrite and sphalerite; Zeta-potentiometric determination showed that the Ynsignificantly changed zeta potential,on the surface of the chalcopyrite and sphalerite in themineral surface has strong chemical adsorption; Yn and mineral effect before and after ir showthat Yn in sphalerite surface adsorption is strong, and at the same time to prevent the adsorptionof xanthate, xanthate in sphalerite occurs only on the surface of the weak study shows that thestructure and performance of the adsorption of organic inhibitors of small molecule organicdepresstant Yn easily with less electronegative metal ions, Fe2+,Zn2+, and weak and metal ionCu2+function, therefore, inhibiting the Yn the order: chalcopyrite> sphalerite> Christophite.
