Copper and zinc are widely used in the construction of economy of metal. Mineral resourcesin there are very few single copper ore and zinc ore, copper and zinc sulfide ores is an importantsource of copper and zinc refining. It is rich in copper and zinc sulfide ore resources in China, butas a result of ore dressing technology constraints, choose containing zinc in copper concentrategrade is very high, which reduces the enterprise economic benefits, and waste of resources.This paper studies the three collector (NH-03, butyl xanthate,) in different pH conditions ofchalcopyrite and sphalerite and selective collecting, Cu2+on sphalerite flotation effect, andcombined depressants (2:1) inhibition of these two kinds of ore screening is an excellent collectorin separation of copper and zinc, artificial mixed mineral experiment was done on the basis ofthis. When the dosage of collector reaches15mg/L, inhibitor dosage is1200mg/L, separationeffect is best, the Cu grade of28.03%, recovery rate81.34%; Zinc grade12.54%and recoveryrate20.01%.Actual ore flotation experiment of the copper zinc mix the process flow of mixed flotation-separate secondary magntic, complementary with Na2S,(2:1) to inhibit Cu2+activation ofsphalerite, has achieved a relatively good experimental index. With the grade of copperconcentrate Cu22.97%, zinc grade5.23%, Cu83.13%, recovery of zinc recovery rate21.22%;The grade of zinc concentrate Cu grade of1.39%, zinc1.39%, Cu1.23%, recovery of zincrecovery rate62.92%.This article through the two aspects of collecting agent and inhibitors on copper zincflotation separation process are analyzed. Infrared spectrum analysis of LP-01the rolemechanism of chalcopyrite and sphalerite show that LP-01adsorption is chemical adsorption inthe surface of chalcopyrite, sphalerite in the surface is mainly physical adsorption, chemicaladsorption is complementary. Measured with the method of ultraviolet degree analysis the LP-01in chalcopyrite surface adsorption amount is much larger than sphalerite, indicates that the LP-01for chalcopyrite has good selectivity.
