Ecosystem services isnatural capitaltothe maintainingfor human survival and development, the estimate of the value of ecosystem services has become the hotspot in the theory and practice research in recent years. We can’t emphasizethe ecological civilization construction too muchin modern society.Tianjin Binhai New Area, as an engine in China Bohai Rim, has had a great change in both land use patterns and socio-economic development structure for the past20years. In this study, the process, influencing factors and mechanisms in the value of ecosystem services changes were analyzed based on land usestructurewith different years, which provided atheoretical support for the further development and opening of Binhai New Area.Firstly, the theories and methods of the valuation of ecosystem serviceswere gave a detailed introduction with an overview on ecosystem services at home and abroad; secondly, seven ecological sub-systemthatConstruction landecosystem, Farmlandecosystem, Garden ecosystem, Salina wetlands ecosystem, Shoals wetlandsecosystem, Swamp wetlands ecosystem and rivers and lakeswetlands ecosystem were distinguished with the method of land ecological classification in Binhai New Area; meanwhile, the land ecosystems areawas added upfrom the visual interpretation remote sensing images in1992,1998,2005and2011,thenanalyzedits space, area, structure, and dynamic; finally, with Costanza’s ecosystem service value equivalency and socio-economic development condition in the study area, concluded the changesof ecosystem services value in Binhai New Area and its further reasons.Studies have shown that:(1) From1992to2011, the Shoals wetlandsecosystem, Swamp wetlands ecosystem and rivers, lakeswetlands ecosystem, forest, grass ecosystem and farm ecosystem has decreased, while the Construction landecosystem has a obvious increase.subtle changes, with a rapid urbanization in Tianjin Binhai New Area. Salina wetlands ecosystemhas differencewith the changes ecological sub-system area, but no big changes, which is closelyrelated to the neighbor of sea、humidity and high salinity natural geographic condition in Binhai New Area.(2) From1992to2011, the total value of ecosystem services hasa decreased trend. The value of ecosystem services was also affected by some other factors in addition to the change of land use types, for the total value of ecosystem services change and land-use changes were not entirely identical. Firstly, the population growth, industrial restructuring, economic construction, as well as policies were contributed to the changes in the value of the ecosystem services inTianjin Binhai New Area; Secondly, the ability of the system to provide ecological services was an important factor to theecosystem services value.
