| Procurement management is very important to the project construction and is the success factor in the project implementation. The effectiveness of the project procurement will affect not only the entire project cost but also the benefits of a project. It’s also of great importance in shortening the construction period. The two aspects have to be combined organically and perfectly. In this way, the company can reduce cost, shorten construction period and increase working efficiency in the project implementation.This thesis studies the project procurement management of Hengyi Caprolactam Project. The thesis introduces the modes, principles and the process of the procurement management of Hengyi Caprolactam Project. Then this article takes cyclohexanone equipments purchasing as an example to introduce the procurement process, supplier management, mill supervision and modification of contact of Hengyi Caprolactam Project. This article attempts to provide the SMEs with the theory and experience of the project procurement management.First, this article analyzes the background and significance of Hengyi Caprolactam Project. Then, the thesis reviews the literatures of procurement management in China and abroad.Secondly, this article introduces the investment background of Caprolactam Project and analyzes the classification of main material. The thesis emphasizes the significance of the procurement management to the project construction.Thirdly, this article analyzes the advantages of the traditional procurement mode used by Hengyi Caprolactam Project. It introduces the procurement management principles that were made by the Procurement Department of Hengyi Caprolactam Project. These principles ensure the project procurement running properly and also ensure the smooth implementation of the project. The thesis compares the characteristic of the procurement methods and analyzes the procurement methods used by Hengyi Caprolactam Project.Fourthly, this article studies the optimization of the procurement process and the detailed procurement process of Hengyi Caprolactam Project with the reference to the project procurement management processes of PMI’s PMBOK2000edition. The orderly procurement process is the basis of the successful procurement work. This chapter attempts to provide the SMEs with the experience of process optimization and refinement through the study of project procurement process. The last but not the least, this article studies the process of cyclohexanone equipments purchasing. This chapter introduces the level I project schedule and the tender process of cyclohexanone purchasing package. Then it focuses on the process of contract fulfillment, the mill supervision and the unannounced inspection. Finally, the thesis introduces the experience of the modification of procurement contract in the process of Hengyi Caprolactam Project procurement. |
