Study Of Procurement Management Of AH Projects Of YM Company

With the slowdown in global economic growth and the sluggish recovery of world economy in recent years,YM Company as a well-known oil and gas enterprise in Asia is facing huge challenges in its operation under the pressure of economic downturn,Procurement management on AH project of YM Company is discussed as the research topic,it does not only enhance the procurement management on projects of YM Company,but also it is of referential significance for enterprises in the whole industry to improve their procurement management on the projects.This paper through the literature and induction method,comparative analysis on the research results,by means of analysis via practical survey and data statistics that major problems for procurement management on AH project of YM Company are classified as three ones,namely problems in the procurement process management,supplier management and procurement coordination.To address the following improvement recommendations are proposed through case analysis and in combination with the induced theoretical basis: Controlling the procurement process with more scientific procedures;evaluating the access suppliers by designing measurable;managing the suppliers by using the supplier classification and positioning model;assessing performance of the suppliers using a balanced score card;establishing a procurement coordination mechanism,etc.The foregoing recommendations integrate the procurement process with the management of suppliers and procurement coordination through the whole-life cycle theory on procurement,which demonstrates improvement brought to YM by the improved AH project procurement management.
