On The Ecological Consumption

Development of human society is the replacement of one civilization to another civilization. Different civilizations gave conceived different modes of production and consumption. Primitive society, agricultural society, and industrial society have to adapt the production and consumption patterns of life. With the continuous development of social economy ecological consumption come to us with the advent of the era of ecological civilization. Whether it is from the perspective of the consumer’s ecological research, or explore the consumer from an ecological perspective, it is a new perspective, which will have important theoretical and practical significance for construction of ecological civilization in China.The first part of this thesis is about some related concepts. Some concepts are explained such as the concept of the relationship between the concept of consumption, consumption and the environment, sustainable consumption, green consumption, low carbon consumption, but also describes the basic features such as eco ecological consumption, sustainability, comprehensiveness, no pollution, etc., will appear ecological consumption made a context analysis. In the era of human civilization accustomed thrift agricultural way of life, the period of industrial civilization, mankind gradually to express themselves through consumption, consumption is no longer meet their original simple necessities of life, and gradually turned to show their form or tool. So, faced with the current environment we live in, how can the consumer and ecological well together, is an important issue.The second part discusses the consumption patterns of ecological advocacy theoretical background and support. From the Marxist concept of ecological consumption, consumer economics, ecological ethics, sustainable development theory and other theories to support ecological consumption, and the use of well-known consumer economist Yin Shijie related theories:From an ecological focus needs to rely on the ecological environment, ecology industry-based, eco-culture highlights, from four aspects to illustrate the vital importance of ecological consumption, and thus from the main ecological view, dialectical ecological point of view to illustrate the concept of the role of consumption in the ecological view of; in practice, ecological consumption construction of ecological civilization, ecological and social production, human development has a role in promoting diversity.The third part in the construction of ecological civilization process, there are positive aspects of the ecological benefits of civilization, there are also many unfavorable ecological harmony of consumption, the challenge facing the development of ecological consumption:the prevalence of consumerism, consumption upgrade brings more great ecological pressure, the system is still missing a major constraint in the development of ecological consumption, eco-consumer market management system needs to be improved and standardized. Meanwhile, the article analyzes the reasons for the presence of harmful consumption patterns in the process of construction of ecological civilization:the impact of traditional Chinese consumer attitudes, the negative impact of western consumerism to bring our nationals, people too dependent on technology and blind optimism over-consumption, ignoring the ecological environment corporate extensive mode of production, the mass media to consumers towards a wrong view of consumption.The fourth part discusses the basic ideas and actively create a path of ecological consumption patterns to choose from. Mainly from the three levels of analysis:the concept of consciousness level, system level and technological level. By Fostering ecological awareness, establish ecological consumer attitudes, consumer education to develop eco-system; improve environmental enforcement system, the eco-system of scientific and ecological technology industries linked to the use of government force to guide the mass media, thereby affecting people’s spending decisions.
