Japanese, Study The Words And Dietary Culture

With the rapid economic development, Dietetic Culture has already been an object of study by many scholars. Dietetic Culture is closed related to the people’s life since ancient times. Japan, as a neighbor of China, deeply influenced by China from of old. At the same time, there are still many differences in the eating habits because of the natural environmental factors between the two countries.The Japanese diet word is very rich. During my studying in Japan, when Ⅰ translated the Chinese words into Japanese, I found it did not work well. So, Ⅰ developed a great interest in the diet words.In Japanese, there are Chinese words, Japanese words, Japanese-Coined Chinese, Foreign words, mixed language and etc as classify by languages. In this thesis, diet words will be classified into two categories as "eating" and "cooking", using the words of eating and cooking in the "Classification Semantics Table" for material. And try to study the meaning of the words by using the Japanese dictionary. Furthermore, analyze the examples of words found in the BCCWJ, and clarify the feature between eating and cooking. Moreover, expiscate the feature of cooking words of daily life. The framework of this thesis is as follows,Section one:Gather the words about eating, and classify into "Japanese" and "Chinese" two parts by language species, and analyze the features of each part. Meanwhile, clarify the names about eating language in the morning, noon, and evening.Section two:Gather the words about cooking, and classify into "Japanese" and "Chinese" two parts. Expiscate the descendant languages of cooking words.Section three:Search the using of diet words in the daily life, and expiscate the complicated cooking words in daily life.
