With the reform and opening-up of China and economic globalization, Chinesepeople are communicating with other countries more frequently. Chinese hasdeveloped as a worldwide language, more and more foreigners now study Chinese inChina. Meanwhile, Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is facing anunprecedented rapid development.Nowadays there has been a growing concern all over the country upon thereform of the Chinese teaching as a foreign language. How to make our teachingmore effective and efficient; How to make our class more happy and lively, Thesekinds of questions really need our deep thinking and good ways to solve.Task-based teaching method emphasizes the organization and arrangement ofteaching centering on the design and completion of tasks, which makes this method aperfectly feasible one in teaching Chinese to Chinese foreign language learners,since it can effectively solve some practical problems in classes.This paper is an attempt to study the application of task-based teaching methodin Chinese teaching as a foreign language,and it is divided into five chapters.The first chapter of this paper is the introduction with presenting the background,purpose, meaning and theoretical foundation. And it elaborates the main researchmethod.The second chapter is the summary of the study of domestic and extrinsictask-based language teaching.The third chapter, through the questionnaire form, we determine the Chineseteaching content; and it briefly illustrates the main characters, three principles of thetask, and introduced the task components.Chapter four, under the guidance of the theory of task-based teaching method,first writes the task design, and then introduced the teaching process, finally throughthe information feedback, it analyzes the study effect.The last chapter is the conclusion, through the teaching effect, the information after feedback, we confirm that the task-based language teaching is very effective andfeasible in Chinese teaching; and it shows the innovation of this research as well as itsdeficiency.
